Mixing & matching your fav AIs šŸ”€

How to cross-utilize and customize your AI processes

Hey AI Puppies,

Throughout our first few newsletters, we’ve zeroed in on how AI can accelerate one specific task (writing, artwork, socials, chatbots, etc).

Despite how excited we are about these functions, let’s get one thing clear:

AI was never meant to be used in isolation.

Not even close. In fact, we’re heading toward a world where AIs speak to each other in a never-ending flow of problem-solving, creative thinking, and effortless productivity.

And although we aren’t living in that glorious land of universal automation quite yet, there are plenty of ways to create your own end-to-end AI workflow.

This week, we’re exploring the subtle art of mixing and matching AIs.

Are you ready to shake things up?! Buckle up, puppies. In this newsletter, we’re taking a look at the cross-utilization potential of…

šŸŒ€ ChatGPT + Midjourney

šŸŒ€ Midjourney + Elevenlabs + D-id

šŸŒ€ ChatGPT + about a million other AIs

Let’s get mixing!

Why Make One Logo, When You Can Make Ten?

First up, the real-world use case that inspired this newsletter, straight from the AI Puppy team. Here’s what went down:

šŸ‘‰ One of our teammates came up with an idea for a new business they’re eager to launch (fellow serial entrepreneurs can relate).

šŸ‘‰ Though this teammate has plenty of business chops, the arts aren’t their thing. They needed a logo, and though Midjourney was ready on deck, they didn’t even know what to input (left-brain folks feel us on that one).

šŸ‘‰ So, this AI Puppy turned to their AI roots: ChatGPT. They asked ChatGPT for 10 ideas for Midjourney prompts that ā€˜represent knowledge and speed’ – core principles of their new business.

Do you want to guess what happened next?

They took ChatGPT’s prompts straight to Midjourney, fed them in one at a time, and got the exact logo ideas they needed to get the creative gears turning.

If you’ve already been doing this, go ahead and pat yourself on the back (you beat us to it). If your mind is blown like ours, you’re welcome šŸ¤

Bring Your Next Tutorial to Life

Next up, another AI Puppy use case. If you’ve been following along, you’ll know that we’re working hard behind the scenes to expand far beyond newsletters and socials. In the future, we hope to have an entire library of AI how-to videos šŸ“š

But if you’ve tried to do video production before, you’ll know it’s quite difficult to master – especially for smaller teams.

As we experiment with different media styles, there’s one formula we can’t get enough of so far:

šŸ‘‰ Creating a video host avatar on Midjourney

šŸ‘‰ Cloning an AI Puppy’s voice on ElevenLabs

šŸ‘‰ Recording a voiceover with that cloned voice, also on ElevenLabs (no human studio sessions required)

šŸ‘‰ Combining our avatar and voice recording on D-id to make our final video!

We aren’t quite ready to release full versions of these yet, but we have similar snippets posted across all of our socials!

Plus, one of our teammates is already using the process to speed up Workday tutorials at his other job ā©

Pretty soon, the AI Puppy community will be looking like this…

The Rest of the Iceberg

Okay, so these examples are the ones we’ve come up with organically while tinkering around for the AI Puppy.

In the spirit of true cross-utilization, we tried mixing ChatGPT and newsletter ideation by asking the AI for 10 useful to combine AIs (pretty meta, we know).

Though we have yet to test them ourselves, and ChatGPT didn’t list specific tools in its response, the results were compelling nonetheless šŸ‘€

Here are three that caught our eye:

šŸ‘‰AI-Powered Product Development: Use an AI system to analyze customer feedback and identify product features or improvements. Then, use another AI system to design and test these new features. Finally, use an AI system to monitor the success of these new features and make further improvements.

Potential tools to make this one happen include…

šŸ‘‰ AI-Driven Recruitment Process: Use an AI system to scan and shortlist resumes based on job requirements. Then, use another AI system for automated interview scheduling. Finally, use an AI-powered video interview tool to analyze candidate responses and body language.

Potential tools to make this one happen include…

šŸ‘‰ Personalized E-commerce Experience: Use an AI system to analyze customer behavior and preferences. Then, use another AI system to recommend products based on this analysis. Finally, use an AI-driven logistics system to manage inventory and shipping.

Potential tools to make this one happen include…

Puppies, this list goes on – pretty much forever.

Your Next Assignment

If you’re already cooking up an AI concoction you want to try out, we want to hear how it goes!

If none of these caught your eye, or you need something slightly different, do what we did: ask ChatGPT for help 🫶

Whatever cross-utilization you get up to, share your experience with a tag on our socials! As always, you can find us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.

Thanks for tuning in this week – we hope you’ve had a great summer so far, and we’ll be back soon with another dive into real-world AI applications šŸ‘‹

Cheers,

The AI Puppy
