If the answer is no, we hate to break it to you, but you’re falling behind. In the fast-paced world of entrepreneurship, digital marketing, sales, and pretty much anything else that involves users and content, engagement is critical.

In case you don’t know where this is going, let’s cut to the chase.

There’s been an explosion of AI tools for building and integrating chatbots into websites.

Spoiler alert, we’re obsessed with what these AI-powered chatbots can do – both for personal use and for business outcomes.

Learn the Chatbot Ropes with Dante

If adding a chatbot function to your website has been too much work to take on in the past, Dante might be the AI tool for you.

Unlike its competitors, this is one you can feel out for free (no credit card info required). If you’ve tried chatbot building in the past, skip these steps, but if you’re brand new to the tool…

  1. Upload one PDF, or Word document, or add a website URL (the limit for the free version) with an info dump of your choice (anything flies – the FAQ from your website, the wiki page on your fav celeb, etc)

  1. Play around with your brand new, AI-powered chatbot!

You won’t be able to move the chatbot off the Dante website on the free version, but this is just for experimenting 🧪🥼🔬

Once you have a feel for the tool, you can try the paid plans:

👉For $10/month, you can upload a bit more data and plug it into your website, but you can’t customize the look or remove the Dante branding

👉For $60/month, you can add a whole lot more data, customize colors, and replace the Dante logo with your own

Leveling Up With Chatbase

Another stellar option to explore on the chatbot front is Chatbase. Like Dante, it's powered by ChatGPT. In fact, they actually feel quite comparable.

The free trial is also only available on the Chatbase website, but this one only allows for 30 messages before you have to start a paid plan. If you’re in the experimenting mood, we recommend sticking to Dante!

Once you’re ready to commit to a full-blown chatbot plugin, Chatbase has a few more flexible payment plans to choose from:

👉 Hobby for $19/month with a 2,000,000 character limit for data

👉 Growth for $49/month with a 4,000,000 character limit for data

👉 Standard for $99/month with a 6,000,000 character limit for data

👉 Unlimited for $399/month with no restrictions on data uploads

Like we said, Chatbase is better for bigger businesses or more specific data needs. Sound like you?

Your Next Assignment

Time to start chatting, puppies! This week, we challenge you to two tasks:
