How to save time on presentations (+ get stronger results)

Hey AI Puppies,

No matter what you do for work or the type of business you hope to launch, there’s one task professionals in every field have in common: creating decks, presentations, and pitches.

While some of us love crafting creative decks, others don’t have the time or patience to create presentation-worthy slides 🥱 In fact…

It takes an average of 2 hours and 52 minutes to make just 10 slides on PowerPoint, and up to 5 hours for 30-slide presentations 🫢

So, instead of bugging your colleagues for design help, taking the L with lackluster presentations, or wasting hours every week, we have a better idea 👀

That’s right, puppies! This week, we’re exploring three different AI tools for creating stunning decks in just a few minutes

Keep reading to meet:

👉Slides.AI, a Google Slides-friendly library of templates and images

👉Slides.com, a favorite of non-designers

👉Beautiful.AI, a solid option for enterprise teams

👉DeckRobot, a data-focused tool for charts, graphs, and data visualizations

Love Google Slides? Try Slides.AI

Think of Slides.AI as a Chrome extension, but only for Google Slides. Like any other Google Add-On, it’s super easy to install and super easy to use!

Plus, Slides.AI is free for 3 presentations a month, then just $10 for 10 per month 👏

Once installed (use this link), all you have to do is:

  1. Start a new Google Slides presentation, then click Extensions > SlidesAI.io

  2. Enter as much text as you need to explain what you need. In the below example, the user wrote multiple paragraphs!

  3. Select from the drop-downs to choose the presentation type of # of slides you want

Here’s what the prompt area looks like:

For extra customization, click Themes and upload your brand colors under Custom:

We love this option because it doesn’t even feel like you’re using AI – it just feels like another one of Google’s many features 🤝

This is a relatively basic option, so you’ll definitely want to edit the results. But with a foundation this fast, you’ll save a ton of time in the early stages of presentation building.

Oh, and it works for over 100 languages 🌍

No Eye for Design? Try Slides.com

If you’re loyal to Open AI and comfortable starting from scratch, Slides.com is for you. The site has been around for a while, but the new AI features took things up a notch 📈

Here’s what to know:

🐾Unlike SlidesAI.io, Slides.com doesn’t generate a complete presentation for you – instead, it’s equipped with handy AI-powered features that fine-tune your deck as you go 🪄

🐾Slides.com doesn’t connect to PowerPoint or Google Slides – you work directly within the web app (of course you can always export later)

🐾Slides.com supports live collaboration with multiple colleagues!

Okay, so the AI piece. Similar to Canva, you’ll see a sparkle emoji on every element of your deck. Click it, and depending on the section you’re working on, you’ll see menus that look something like these.

For copy:

For outline ideas:

For image editing:

Think of Slides.com as an AI-powered, real-time presentation editor!

Prices start at $5/month for unlimited private presentations and 50 AI prompts/month.

Happy editing ✨

Need Enterprise Scale? Try Beautiful.AI

For enterprise-level businesses, it’s tough to beat Beautiful.AI, a tool trusted by massive companies like Uber, Salesforce, AT&T, and many others ⭐

Like Slides.com, Beautiful.AI has been around for years, but recently leveled things up with generative AI 👏

Unlike Slides.com, however, Beautiful.AI users have access to DesignerBot. Here’s how the company describes it:

“DesignerBot is a powerful creative partner that designs slides quickly, helps brainstorm ideas and generates text and images in a snap. All you have to do is ask, and watch DesignerBot generate a unique deck for you in seconds.”

So, think of the DesignerBot as ChatGPT and Midjourney in one, plus a presentation-specific editor ✍️

Users start with your usual AI prompt:

Then start customizing with easy-to-add AI suggestions and powerful image generation:

Despite its flashy features, it’s not as pricey as you’d think. Individual plans start at $12/month and team plans start at $40/user per month.

Tired of Formatting? Try DeckRobot

Microsoft users, don’t fret – we have a tool just for you, too! DeckRobot is a PowerPoint plug-in that claims to lower screen time by 80% 👀

The goal is simple: to reduce how much repetitive clicking it takes to make decks uniform, consistent, and polished.

DataRobot is especially powerful for companies that need to:
