We’ll be honest – even tech junkies didn’t see this one coming. Well, we knew it would happen eventually… but this fast? This swiftly? It’s not easy to stay calm 😅

In fact, that’s what drove our name. We feel a lot like puppies at the moment: clumsy, green, but, most importantly, excited.

Tempted to Dismiss AI? Don’t Even Think About It

Though it’s only loaded with web data from September 2021 andlier, OpenAI is the undisputed victor in the current arena. Their signature tool, of course, is ChatGPT.

While previous iterations of AI went through cycles of promise, investment, and under-delivery, OpenAI is legitimate thanks to a few perfect conditions. If you don’t believe us, read this dive from WIRED.

Ever heard the phrase ‘turn into the skid?’

Despite the inevitability of job disruption, OpenAI can improve your work (and hobbies) right now.

If your role is about to be flipped upside down, might as well go out with a very productive bang 🤷 🔥

Your First Assignment

If you haven’t tried ChatGPT yet … you’re avoiding the inevitable (we’re friends now, so it’s our job to call you out 😉).

Whether you’re a writer, marketer, coder, or cough cough in between jobs, your time has come. Don’t worry, we’ll hold your hand:

1. Head to www.openai.com, click ‘Sign Up’ in the upper righthand corner, and complete the set-up process (this should take about 2 minutes)

2. You’ll then be directed to 3 options: ChatGPT, DALL-E, or API. For now, let’s focus on ChatGPT.

3. Once you click ChatGPT (or ‘chat’ or ‘conversation’), use the message field at the bottom of the screen to type your prompts.

Now that you’ve ripped off that band-aid, you can start experimenting with prompts ✍️

Here are some examples to get those creative juices flowing:

• “Give me a prediction around <insert your business or career> 5 years from now”

• “Acting like , tell me a joke”

• “What steps should I take to ”

• “What’s the best way to connect with customers in the industry?

• “What are some best practices for ?”

Don’t hold back, friends! Try it at work, if you dare. There’s a reason it’s taking over 😈

Scaling ChatGPT

You can use ChatGPT as a casual internet friend all you want, but it can also be your co-pilot.
